Merseyside Taxi Firm Gets Reduced Insurance Premium With VDR

It is common knowledge in the taxi industry that insurance premiums are at an all time high. However a taxi fleet in Merseyside have approached an insurer for a premium on the basis of having the VDR installed and have reduced their premium by £500 per vehicle.
The firm has installed a four camera system to record internally and externally in order to protect the driver and also combat fraudulent claims and ‘crash for cash’ scams.
Insurers are now seeing the benefits of vehicle CCTV. The Merseyside firm managed a discount on their insurance premium, whilst protecting their drivers too!
