Emergency Services Triathlon

The VUE Emergency Services National Triathlon Championships are BACK!!! and BIGGER than ever!!!

The triathlon is a three stage race which consists of the following: 750m Swim | 20km Flat Cycle | 5 km Run

The event is suitable for all, from seasoned tri-athletes to novices and first time entrants. It is open to all Emergency Service personnel of all abilities including Police, Fire, Ambulance, Mountain Rescue, Coastguard / Lifeboat Services, Army, RAF, Navy, etc. whether you work on the front line, offices, workshops or retired. We challenge you to take part and help YOUR service be crowned the BEST whilst raising money for your service charity!!!

This event is a fantastic opportunity for competitors to gain sponsorships to donate to their service charities. You can gain sponsorships and raise money for your service by registering on our justgiving.com page and start raising money!!! There will also be a prize awarded to the person who raises the most at this event.

There are also various prizes and medals for the winners of each category (Fastest Male, Fastest Female & Fastest Relay Team) and an additional £1000 donation to the overall winning service charity which last year was narrowly won by the Police.

This year’s charities will include the Ambulance Service Benevolent Fund, The Fire Fighters Charity, Care of Police Survivors (COPS), Royal National Lifeboat Institution, Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund, Help for Heroes and Mountain Rescue England & Wales.

All competitors also received a free kit bag which includes a FREE commemorative race t-shirt and also a FREE entry to the after race BBQ.

Venue: National Water Sports Centre, Nottingham. NG12 2LU

Event Details: Sprint Distance Triathlon - Swim 750m | Cycle 20km | Run 5km

Date: Friday 25th May 2012 - Race Starts 12 noon (Registration 10:00am - 11:15am)

Prize: Medals and Prizes will be awarded to each category winner plus a £1000 donation from VUE to overall winning service charity.

Event Cost: Individual Entry £35 (BTA Member £30) | Relay Team Entries £60 (BTA Members £50)

Entry Closing Date: Sunday 20th May (NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY)
